This production adhered to the guidelines of Code of Best Practices for Sustainable Filmmaking.

In 7 (seven) shoot days, the production employed these practices to keep the Total CO2 under 0.1 Ton emissions:

  1. Transportation: used a hybrid Prius vehicle, covering 600 miles, with MPG of 65 in the highway and 50 in the city.
  2. Electricity: All energy used to charge batteries were based on “green”, non-fossil fuel sources, such as wind and solar power. All editing and post-production work was performed using the same non-fossil fuel source. However, Graphics and Titling was performed for 50 hours in Bogata, Columbia, where fossil fuel energy generated electrical power.
  3. Food: All food was consumed in a restaurant or purchased locally. No tin foil or plastics or single-use recycle products were used. This production is not counting the energy used to make the food as this was not directly in the control of the production.
  4. Refuse: There was nothing produced or used; nothing was created as trash.
  5. Water: all water was sourced at each location, and water was refilled in available stainless steel bottles.
  6. Media: All media storage was stored in already available SSD hard drives. No purchases were made, so there was no refuse created.
  7. All camera and sound gear and lights: All gear used charged batteries. Lights were LED 200w, minimizing energy consumption for on-location production.
